At Canopy, Keerat assists the Executive Director in their efforts to transform the marketplace and advance forest conservation and rights for communities.

More about me 

I am an award-winning campaigner and community organizer. I cut my teeth campaigning for a climate-resilient Toronto and published a report outlining the Government of Canada’s obligations to act on climate change while completing a degree in Geography from the University of Toronto.

My appreciation for non-profit organizations as instruments for individuals to work together to turn shared convictions into action inspired my involvement in the incorporation of Peel Region’s first climate council, and a career in environmental NPOs. I have six years of expertise in ENPO management, engagement and communications.
